COOKIE POLICY

This Cookie Policy explains how LynxTMS LLC ("we," "us," "our") uses cookies and similar technologies on the marketing website at https://lynxtms.com (the "Site"). It is the Cookie Notice referred to in our Privacy Policy, and it should be read alongside it: this policy covers what is stored on your device, while the Privacy Policy covers what we do with personal information generally.

This policy applies only to the marketing website. It does not govern the LynxTMS software product or subscription services.

1. WHAT COOKIES ARE

A cookie is a small text file that a website asks your browser to store on your device. Related technologies, such as local storage and session storage, work the same way: they let a site keep a small amount of information in your browser between page loads or visits. Where this policy says "cookies," it means all of these.

Cookies set by the site you are visiting are called first-party cookies. Cookies set by another company whose code runs on the page are called third-party cookies.

We divide cookies into two groups, and we treat them differently.

Strictly necessary cookies are the ones the Site cannot work correctly without, including the cookie that records your cookie choice itself. These are set without asking, because asking for permission to remember that you refused permission would not be sensible. They do not track you and are not shared with anyone.

Analytics cookies help us understand how the Site is used - which pages are visited, and whether people who start one of our forms finish it. These are switched off until you accept them. When you first visit, a banner asks for your choice, and nothing is recorded and no analytics cookie is placed on your device while that banner is on screen. If you reject, or simply ignore the banner and keep reading, no analytics cookies are ever set.

3. COOKIES WE USE

The table below lists every cookie the Site can set. Names ending in a code, such as ph_phc_…_posthog, include an identifier for our analytics account.

PostHog

PostHog processes this information on our behalf and does not use it for its own advertising. Accepted analytics cookies also allow PostHog to record a session replay, a reconstruction of the pages you viewed and where you clicked, which we use to find broken or confusing parts of the Site.

Google Analytics

We also use Google Analytics 4 to count visits, to see which pages are read, and to see which visits end in a form being submitted. The Google tag that collects this is not loaded at all until you accept analytics cookies: before you accept, no request is made to Google and no Google cookie exists on your device. If you reject, or ignore the banner, the tag is never loaded and the _ga cookies above are never set.

Once loaded, the tag sends what it collects to Google, which may process and store it on servers outside your country, including in the United States. That includes your IP address, which Google uses to estimate the general area you are in; Google states that it does not log or store IP addresses in Google Analytics 4. We have not switched on Google Signals, advertising features, or remarketing, so this data is not used to build advertising audiences or to follow you to other sites.

You can read how Google handles data from sites that use its tools at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites. Google also offers an opt-out browser add-on that blocks Google Analytics on every site you visit, not only this one.

4. WHAT WE DO NOT USE COOKIES FOR

We do not use cookies for advertising, retargeting, or building a profile about you, and we do not sell or share cookie data with advertisers. The advertising features that Google Analytics offers are switched off. We do not set any cookie for visitors who have not accepted analytics cookies, beyond the two strictly necessary ones described above.

Our contact, partnership, and waitlist forms do not rely on cookies. What you type into them is submitted to us directly, and how we handle it is described in our Privacy Policy. If you have rejected analytics cookies, submitting a form is not recorded in our analytics at all.

5. CHANGING YOUR CHOICE

You can change your mind at any time, and taking consent back is as easy as giving it. Use the control below - your choice takes effect immediately.

Rejecting analytics cookies here stops both PostHog and Google Analytics from recording anything further, for the rest of this visit and on every visit after it. Cookies already stored on your device from an earlier visit can be removed through your browser, as described in the next section.

6. CONTROLLING COOKIES IN YOUR BROWSER

Your browser can also block or delete cookies, independently of the choice you make on this Site. Most browsers explain how under a Privacy or Security settings menu. Note that blocking all cookies, including strictly necessary ones, means this Site cannot remember your cookie choice, so the banner will appear on every visit.

Many browsers also offer a "Do Not Track" setting. There is no common standard for how sites should respond to it, so we do not respond to it; the choice you make on this Site is what governs our analytics.

7. CHANGES TO THIS COOKIE POLICY

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time, for example when we add or remove a tool that sets cookies. The date at the top shows when it was last revised. If we add a new category of cookie, we will ask for your consent again before setting it.
